On Thursday 1st May, Amanda Perrotton delivered an insightful presentation on Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) and wider property-related tax issues to members of the Derby and District Law Society. The session was kindly hosted at the Smith Partnership offices in Derby.

This presentation forms part of our ongoing national initiative to provide timely tax updates to conveyancers and property solicitors across the UK. As Amanda reminded attendees, solicitors must be cautious not to cross the line into giving tax advice particularly in complex or high-stakes cases. That’s where we come in.
